Map Versions
The map version allows you to adjust the map matching of TomTom data to the road network. Different map versions are used to analyze the traffic data based on various road geometries that may have changed over time.
The following table shows the supported date ranges and recommended map versions to analyze them.

Main map versions already use map-matched data, which reduces calculation time, and delivers data faster on a bigger scale.
It is also possible to perform reports on a stable map version across many months in the same year.
Additional Map Versions:
If needed you can select other map versions. This option is available only for the latest 2 years of data (moving time window).
We allow the use of other minor map versions released each quarter. For example, when asking for a date range between January and February 2020, you can use the 2020.03 map version.
This will take a little longer to deliver such a result in most cases due to the additional map-matching process.
